Good evening all and a Happy Easter.
Val (aka Mrs A) set us the task of producing something "Humourous" over at the Christmas Card Club today....I'm running late here but finally got a card made.
I was a bit stuck with this one but finally remembered this image on Joanna Sheen's Messy Rabbit Christmas CD.....simply layered up and a customised sentiment added. The image was decoupaged and I'll probably add some layers once I get a few minutes to spare.
We've had a busy weekend with visitors and demolishing the conservatory...I need to get a batch of wedding invites made and I'm trying to get ahead with birthday cards and DT work...it's all go!!! I also gained a great niece yesterday, a lovely surprise on my Mum's birthday...Isla Elizabeth weighed in at 7lb 61/2oz, Mum and baby both doing well and back home within about 6 hours of the birth!!!
If you'd like to see what the other girls made you'll find their links on my sidebar.
A fun card Carol, Messy Rabbit takes me back a bit! It sounds like you are a busy lady.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the new baby, lovely to have a new little one in the family, Kate x
YOu are busy indeed, good luck with getting all that done amid the chaos of demolishing a room. Had to laugh at the sentiment,it's one we used to sing as teenagers (I think I remember that long ago). And got a big chuckle over the Christmas Mouse. Good luck with the wedding cards. Talk about pressure! TFS & Congratulations on a lovely new little family member.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter. This is perfect for the challenge Carol, a great sentiment too, I remember singing this.

Hi Carol. What a great card for this theme. Loved Messy Rabbit and tend to forget about my JS CDs. Gosh, it sounds as if you could do with a breather my friend. Lots going on in your life at the moment to keep a few folk busy I think. Hugs Rita xxxx
