Five Year Blogaversary

Good morning all.

Not sure why the linky is showing numerous times, just add your link to the first one...it might correct itself!

Ferry trip over to North Island today, the weather was kind but I can't believe how fast it has just changed - as the sun was about to set spectacularly too! There's now a howling wind blowing and it's almost pitch black.

On the 9th of March this year my blog will be five years old...how the heck did that happen?? As a way of celebrating and saying thank you to all my wonderful followers, I'm offering some blog candy. I was trying to set this up to run for two months from the date I left home but inlinkz had other ideas...so here we are today instead.

Two of the kids bought me a set of stitched square dies for Christmas so one set will form the first part of the candy...I've got a few other bits put aside which I'll add to this too.

Blog Candy - redraw

As one of my prizes remained unclaimed I had a redraw earlier today using Random Org, I'd generated the winner but could I heck remember how to copy it to show on my post. Rita from RMG Creations was in my neck of the woods today so she'd arranged to pop down this afternoon with her daughter and grand daughter so whilst she was here I asked her to verify the winning number then popped over to my blog to see who'd won.......imagine my surprise to find it was Rita herself.........I think Rita's ghast was truly flabbered lol!!

I did eventually remember how to show the Random thingy so here it is:

I can't believe how fast this past year has gone, it only seems five minutes since I made my inaugural post on my blog and I'm now heading towards 600 posts!! Thank you to all my followers old and new, I now have 230 friends some of whom I knew before blogging but most of you are new friends this last year. Thanks to you all for your inspiration, taking the time to follow and for all your lovely comments.
