Crafting when we Can #24 CASE It

It's time for a new challenge at CWWC and this time we'd like you to CASE It - so CASE any of the DT projects, for example using the layout, colours or theme for your inspiration. Please tell us in your post which DT you're casing and what your inspiration is. We're being sponsored by The Stamping Boutique.

I've used a Caroling Snowmen image from The Stamping Boutique and coloured with promarkers and highlighted with a gelly roll pen then die cut with a circle nestie and mounted onto a scalloped nestie. Backing papers is from My Minds Eye, lamp die is from Marianne Design, bow from my stash. I'm loving these papers from My Mind's Eye this year and the colours are becoming a firm favourite for Christmas.

Crafting When We Can #13 Animals

Time for a new challenge at CWWC and the theme is Animals. We're being sponsored by The Stamping Boutique. The DT were given images to use, I've used Audrey the Equestrian.

  • Papers: Dovecraft's Princess Fairytales
  • Image: The Stamping Boutique
  • Medium: promarkers, DI and gelly roll pen
  • Twine, ribbon and button from my stash
Now I did say a few weeks ago I wouldn't be making another rosette any time soon, well this one didn't go together any easier than the last but it seemed the most appropriate embellishment!

Crafting When We Can #9 Resolutions

Today sees the first challenge of 2012 at CWWC and the theme is New Year's Resolutions. My resolutions for this year include finishing my cards with an insert when I make them, sorting out my old photos and doing some scrap booking. In order to get all this done I will have to have some "me time" so I've made this calendar for my craft room. We're being sponsored by The Stamping Boutique and Crafty Ribbons.

  • Image: Stamping Boutique
  • Medium: promarkers and DI
  • Papers: Costco (from the bit box) and Anna Griffin (one of my first crafting purchases)
  • Dies: Spellbinders

Crafting for all Seasons #14 Thanksgiving or thanks

Time for a new challenge at CFAS and this time the theme is thanks or thanksgiving and/or a sketch. We're being sponsored by Bugaboo and The Stamping Boutique and the DT were given images to work with. I've combined Pumpkin and Pie from The Stamping Boutique with Bobblehead Thanksgiving Scarecrow from Bugaboo as I thought they worked really well together.

Base card Kraft, BP from Prima Melody Collection. Images coloured with promarkers. Card finished with a ribbon, button, baker's twine, diecut corners from Marianne Designs and pearls.
I choose not to use the sketch this time (well to tell the truth I forgot lol) but it is a fab sketch from Jani.
