I'm busy making Mother's Day cards for my eldest to sell to raise funds for his Mongol Rally trip. I'm raiding the spare prints and stamped box along with the bit box so hopefully I may make a dent in both!
My first features a Tatty Ted image which has been lying around for months.
Paper is from Joanna Sheens Daisy and Friends CD and was in my bit box. Dies are all Spellbinders. Sentiment is computer generated. Ribbon, button and twine from my stash. As I only had one piece of the aqua card I've cut the oval from the middle of the square and the circle from the middle of the oval!

ReplyDeleteHello Carol,
ReplyDeleteIt may be a box of tricks card but it very much appeals to my taste! I think it looks absolutely gorgeous!
Good luck with your eldest's trip, are you going too? Its just that Ive seen the countdown up there on your blog and wondered if it was for you too?!
I can be very naive at times! Sorry if Ive got it all wrong!

I also use your idea of cutting out of the middles of the cardstock. Saves card and helps it go further. Love Tatty Ted, he's so cute. Beautiful cards for your son to sell and help him on his way.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Carol - I love Tatty Teddy and the blues are so perfect.
ReplyDeleteI learned something today from you that's sooooo useful!! I use Core'dinations quite a lot for matting and layering and it always grieves me to cut into a second sheet of 6" x 6" card to make a mat to go behind the image. This way the card could go twice as far! What a star - one for the playground roll call write up on Sunday for sure!
I can't see from your older postings if you join in WOYWW or not. If you don't, is it OK if I also mention it there and send folk over to your blog? I'm tickled pink with such a clever idea!
