HLS Christmas Challenge #1 "Tree"

Good evening all.

Arrived in Devon safely, weather has been lovely today but forecast is a bit mixed for the next few days. Accommodation is lovely, a nice peaceful location although the roads are a bit hairy!

So pleased to be here sharing some inspiration for the first Christmas challenge at Happy Little Stampers. The theme this month is:



Here is my card:


Using my favourite PB tree, which was a magazine freebie - stamped in versamark and heat embossed in white detail EP then inked with distress inks. Frame dies are from Wplus9, pennant die from Spellbinders, sentiment from same PB set, sequins from my stash.

    Hi there Carol, this is such a pretty delicate card, love it. Have a lovely time in Devon. I know what you mean about the roads lol! we found them very narrow with very high hedges! but a lovely place to visit. Have a relaxing time.

    Love what you did with this gorgeous tree Carol - the framing is perfect for it and the background inking really makes it pop. I used this tree too lol!

    Hello Carol,
    A wonderful, delicate card, colors although deviate from the tradition, but beautifully reflect the Christmas mood. I love the shaded background that brings a note of mystery.
