Good morning all.
I was brave yesterday and updated to Windows 10...it downloaded no problems and so far I like what I see - once I'd worked out where all my files were stored that is!!
Another two weeks have flown past and it's time for our little Christmas Card club reveal. Lorraine set us the challenge of using lots of layers this time.
I finally managed to make a start on my special cards. Topper is from Wild Rose Studios; papers are from DoCraft; circle and square dies are from Spellbinders; snowflakes are from Paper Smooches; poinsettias and fir from Marianne Designs; sentiment from LOTV. I've added some stickles to finish things off.
This one will be hand delivered so didn't need to be flat.
You'll find a list of the girls on my sidebar if you'd like to see their take on the theme...you won't be disappointed.
Challenges entered:
CHNC Extra - anything Christmas goes
CHNC - something beginning with S (stripes, snowflakes, snow, scarf, sentiment)
Jingle Belles - photo inpiration...I used the colours
ABC Christmas Challenge - P for polka dots
Christmas Cards all Year Round - snowflakes
A Gem of a Challenge - animals or birds
Brown Sugar - anything goes
Sister Act Card Challenge - anything goes
Moving along with the Times - snow in summer
Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Papers - anything goes
Love how you used those colors ... so very glad you joined us with some Cookies 4 Santa at Jingle Belles.

ReplyDeletePlease forgive me for not getting here until now Carol - this weekend was manic. Your card is beautiful, I love the blue and red colour combo with this sweet image and embellishments. I know you prefer to create CAS cards which makes this all the more special to me that you created a card following my theme. I really love the large circle die, something that's missing in my collection ha, ha, might have to remedy that :)
ReplyDeleteTake care,
Lorraine

ReplyDeleteLovely sweet topper and the colors just sing 'holiday fun'. Love the stripe border with this festive image, and ditto the pretty circle mat. Really liking the way you've done the poinsettia and branches bouquet in the corner with all the icy little snowflakes too. So glad your Win10 is behaving well for you. I couldn't even find my favorites to get round to everyone. I did find where I could use IE instead of Edge, and also the Google Chrome is a bit less frustrating. I'm thinking it is some setting I need to turn on, and also I can't get to Netflix or Acorn, or any of the blogs I need to visit! I need you to come help me!!!! TFS & Hugs.
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet card, Carol, love your colour combo and the cute topper. Thanks for sharing with us at ABC Christmas Challenge, hope to se you again.
