Good morning all.

It's time for another challenge over at CCWS and we hope you're playing along with us this year and stocking up on those Christmas cards and projects. It's the turn of the Snow Angels to inspire you this week and Janneke designed the sketch. Christmas Card Club - "12 Days of Christmas"

Good afternoon all. It's a nice bright autumnal day here, hope it is with you too.

The main daytime wedding invites were delivered yesterday so I'll have to make a start on the evening ones this week...I need 90-100 of them, thankfully they're fairly simple!

It's time for our next challenge over at the Christmas Card Club, it was Sue P's turn to choose the theme this time and she's asked for the "12 Days of Christmas".  Here is my card:

I had to put my thinking cap on for this one!! Then I remembered this digi image and sentiment from Pink Petticoat which I've teamed up with papers from their Scandi Chic Winter Blooms collection and a small Christmas sentiment. Dies are from Spellbinders and border punch is from Tonic. Card is finished with crafter's cord and gems from my stash.

You'll find the rest of the girls listed on my sidebar if you'd like to pop over and see their creations.

Crafting for all Seasons #47 Spring into Spring

Good afternoon all. Midweek again so it will soon be the weekend for all of you still working!
Off out to lunch again today with a friend, we were supposed to be trying out a new Marston's Pine Marten due to open this week. Unfortunately they have water problems and now won't open for about a month! Guess we'll be availing ourselves of one of the local hostelries instead.

I'm hoping to get to the SECC tomorrow to meet a few crafty friends and no doubt spend a few pennies. Anyone else going tomorrow?

Today it's time for a new challenge at CFAS and this time the theme is "Spring into Spring". We're  looking forward to seeing all your makes. We're being sponsored by Robyn's Fetish and the DT were given images to use although I've used "Overdawall Puppy".

Image has been coloured with promarkers. Papers are from Pink Petticoat. Dies from Spellbinders. Ribbon, button and pearls from my stash. Sentiment computer generated.

Do pop over to the challenge blog to see the rest of the girls inspiration, you won't be disappointed.

And a partridge in a pear tree

Feeling very sad today after hearing that a friend and moderator on the Joanna Sheen forum had passed away yesterday at the age of 42. Such a sad loss and I know she'll be sorely missed on the forum.
We've had no kitchen joy again today so tomorrow it'a phone call to head office to try to get things moving in the right direction..........watch this space!
Had a trip to the hairdressers this morning so all those funny coloured bits at my roots have been washed away again, so at least outwardly I appear tip top lol
Today's card is a Christmas one I haven't shown yet, possibly because I wasn't awfully happy with how it turned out!

Image, sentiment and Christmas text BP are all from Pink Petticoat. Image coloured with promarkers. BP trimmed with a Martha Stewart punch. Finished with some ribbon and lace which was originally used on a long dress I made at school about 34 years ago!

Challenges entered:
Crafty Catz - anything goes
Allsorts - anything but square
CES - song or film inspired (12 days of Christmas)
Paper Sundaes - rectangles
Christmas Crafting - 12 days of Christmas
Simon says Stamp and Show - recycle or upcycle

and because the backing paper came from my bit box I'm entering

Cupcakes

Hope everyone is enjoying their Bank Holiday Monday. It's not really a holiday in Scotland so it's pretty much business as usual here - DD has gone off to school camp for the week, eldest is working and middle child has just left for college. Hubby has gone out to see his Dad so I'm home alone and enjoying the peace and quiet (albeit the washing machine is humming away in the background!).

Glad to see Blogger seems to be behaving itself again and my followers have returned.........it was getting quite lonely here on my own lol A big Hello to all my new followers and many thanks for all the lovely comments you have all left recently.

Back to business - unfortunately the cupcake isn't edible in this instance (shame as I just fancy something sweet)!
Cupcake image from Bits n Bobs, coloured with promarkers then I've used ivory flowersoft for the icing sprinkled with some silver and one of the mixed tubs. Backing papers from Pink Petticoat. Card is finished with some polka dot ribbon which has been in my stash forever and some pearls.
Challenges entered:
Ribbon Carousel - cupcakes
Shopping our Stash - ribbon rewind
Digi Doodle Shop - anything goes

Tilda and butterfly

My gorgeous new stamp.......I just love her lol. Had a trip around Hobbycraft yesterday just for a nose and boy do they know how to charge! Picked up a few bits and bobs.........as you do.......then found a full set of 72 watercolour pencils for £50 - a set of 36 were priced at over £40 so decided they were a must buy along with a pack of two mini easels. Checked on the web and the pencils are priced generally over £70! So a worthwhile trip. I coloured Tilda in last night with my new watercolour pencils.
I followed the Sketch and Stash sketch for this card. The green backing paper is a free download from Pink Petticoat and is being aired for the first time, checked paper from Anna Griffin - from my bit box, sentiment from Madaboutcards. Card is finished with some swirls, a gingham bow, a rosebud and some gems.
I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:
My Time to Craft - On the Spot
Magnolia Mania - Checked
Magnolia-licious - Pink and Green
Stamptacular Sunday - Girls and Swirls
Creative Inspirations - Punches and Dies
A Spoonful of Sugar - All Creatures Great and Small
