Anniversary

Good morning all.

Another lovely day here yesterday weather wise. Managed some crafting and finally finished the commissioned card I've been working on and made the one I'm sharing today. Other than that it was washing and sorting for me! I needed to get rid of the mountain of craft magazines I've amassed...now hubby has a huge box full to recycle!

An anniversary card to share today for my nephew and his wife on their 1st Anniversary which happens later this month.

I fell in love with this Valentine Penguins decoupage set from Pink Gem Designs as soon as I saw it and know the happy couple will love it too. Printed onto ice blue decoupage paper, the base layer is simply matted and layered. I've added all the layers of decoupage and changed the Valentine banner to Anniversary which was also supplied.

Good morning all.

Yesterday consisted mainly of housework and washing (don't know where it all comes from!), with a little bit of crafting. I finally made one of Sunday's failed projects work although it's not something I can show you at the moment.

Another quick one layer Christmas card to share today using the second of the Pink Gem Design images that I won.

This one is called Mistletoe Kisses and comes complete with the sentiment. I've coloured with promarkers and added some stickle for sparkle and shine.

All finished inside too and being one layer is very flat for posting.

Joys of the Season

Good morning all.

Yesterday was a bit of a write off...I really wanted a day crafting but nothing would go according to plan so I gave up. Did get the bedding all washed and dried and the food cupboards filled though so not a completely wasted day. 

Today's share is a quick one layer Christmas card. I was lucky enough to win at A Gem of a Challenge and got to choose two images from Pink Gem Designs. 

This image is called Chilly with Robins, I printed it out in blue ink and coloured with promarkers before adding some stickles to the hats. The sentiment is from Inky Impressions.

All finished inside too.
