Happy Birthday

Good morning all.

We had a beautiful day here yesterday, it was lovely to see some blue sky. Housework done, three loads of washing done....don't know where it all keeps coming from though and Hubby decided to make tea so I had a play yesterday afternoon, although nothing is finished yet. All the parcels on order arrived so quite a bit of Christmas shopping done too...just the difficult ones to get now!

A birthday card made for my nephew to share today, I think that's all this year's birthday cards done now. Do love how this one turned out.


The football die is from Tattered Lace. The stripes are from Clearly Besotted and I've stamped twice in grey and black Memento. The sentiment banner is also from Clearly Besotted and is from a set I received free with my first order from them.

    Very cute card! I love how you've designed the inside, too! As far as the laundry goes... don't you wish that if socks had to wander off somewhere, they'd just wander off INTO the washing machine? Seriously... :)

    A very beautiful CAS card that I'm sure your recipient will love just as much as I do. It looks very Deco & Retro with the black & white and the strips of color with that fab ball (I think we Yanks call it soccer but you Brits call it football? I get confused! We call it baseball, you call it cricket? No matter, as long as the game is enjoyed!) Thx for the kind comment on the Vet's Day card, and thank you to your countrymen too. No matter the native land, each service to the country is to be remembered and respected and we all need to value their sacrifices for our freedoms. Hugs

    Great card, Carol. Perfect for those masculine cards we always need. I shall show this one to my friend. She is a new cardmaker and her husband is the president of the local Celtics Club. They bring in the live footage of the games and the fellows come to watch the games...mostly at ungodly hours due to the time difference. She gives Bday cards to all the older fellows....they are all Scots! They will love this card and this will give her some inspiration...
