A Very Merry Christmas

Good morning all.

A lazy day was had yesterday! Watched the Remembrance Day parade from the Cenotaph then sorted Gary's washing, changed our bed and did some crafting.

A one layer Christmas card to share today.


I found this LOTV stamp lurking unloved in a drawer and decided to put it to use. Coloured with watercolour pencils with stickles for fur....needs practice me thinks! Sentiment stamp is from DoCrafts and I think it was a magazine freebie, lines stamp is from Clearly Besotted. Wish I hadn't painted around the image now but thought it looked a bit bare!!

and finally my present from Gary.....


.....a hand carved meat tenderiser! It's about the size of an axe! Guess he thinks my steaks are too tough lol.

    Your image is delightfully colored, and I love LOTV images! Your background coloring was just fine and enhanced the pink on this little sweeties costume too. The fur stickles sparkled so nicely as well. So I think you did a fab job all round. Now that is _some_ meat tenderizer. Let us know how it works out! TFS & Hugs

    Your card is so pretty/ That is a wonderful image and you done it proud. The sentiment is nice with the bits of holly on the edges.

    I'm with the poster who said save the tenderizer for complaints! teehee
