Paper Weaving

Been a lovely day here today so I managed to get all the washing done. Had a little play this afternoon and did some paper weaving - how difficult can that be!!! As someone who's dabbled in ribbon weaving from time to time I wasn't expecting any trouble - big mistake - I probably destroyed a tree creating this background lol!

I used some iris folding papers (for the first time having owned them for years!) for the weaving, added a sentiment to the centre (from Docrafts goody bag) and finished with some 3d chipboard stick on shapes in each corner ( a bogof from Lakeland many moons ago!). Don't think I'll be trying this again any time soon but at least I've used up some elderly stash in my endeavours.

Challenges entered:
Bah! Humbug! - paper weaving
Bling it on - weaving
Fab's Big Christmas - poinsettia
Christmas Cards all Year Round - use stash over a year old
Kaboodle Doodles - chipboard
Paper Variety - use stickers

  12. Wow Carol, I've never tried paperweaving but it looks as complicated as putting a lattice crust on a cherry or apple pie. The embellies are just so cute and really make the card a stunner. Thanks for joining us at CCAYR. "Hugs" Carol
