Embrace Life

Good morning all.

Off on my jollies today...we're travelling down halfway today to break the journey up so stopping overnight at Trentham Gardens which we visited a couple of years ago.

Sharing the card I made for June's Card Chain Challenge over at The Society of Stampaholics. This was sent to Janet in Mauritius whilst I received one from Emily in Iowa.

Die is from Wplus9, die cut twice to give a little dimension. Stamps and stencils all from STAMPlorations. Butterfly has been stencilled with texture paste then I added mint EP and once dry I heat embossed it. A few gems finish the card.

Challenges entered:
Creative Card Crew - clean and simple
Everybody-Art-Challenge - clean and simple
Sweet Stamps - bright colours
AAA Cards - use paste or stencils
Creative Moments - anything goes/wet/dry embossing

  1. What an interesting pattern with the softness of these 2 pretty colors - a very nice combination. And love, love that paste & embossed butterfly too. The mint coloring over the paste was so pretty. Great card, Miss Carol. Enjoy your trip, be safe and have loads of fun. Hugs & TFS

  4. Well that's a new tip I've learnt, wasn't aware that you can put embossing powder on top of texture paste and then heat it when dry, one to try later.
A gorgeous card, lovely colours and design.
