LIM - thank you

Had a lovely trip to the Sincerely Yours craft show at Edinburgh today and picked up a few new goodies as you do lol. When I saw this Siberian Husky stamp I had to have it and I wasn't long home before it was inked up for the first time. This is my card:
Stamp is from the Stamp Barn and was inked with Versafine ink. Sentiment is from a large box off QVC and obviously isn't stuck on the wooden block straight!! Card is finished with some ribbon and embossing. (I could probably have done with checked, striped or spotted ribbon here but there was none in my collection!!)
Challenges I'm entering:
LIM - thank you/congratulations

  1. Love that stamp Carol, I bet you were so excited to get it as well. Its made a stunning card. Glad the show was good, I would have liked to have been there, but too much going on at the minute. Hugs Rita xxx

  2. Loads of stamps aren't mounted square to their wooden blocks Carol. That's one reason why I use my DIY stamp positioner. It ensures that things are printed straight!
The tutorial for it is on week 1 of our blog. Do take a look.
    That's a great image!
Thanks for joining us once more!

  11. Carol, that is a fabulous stamp...and a beautiful card!! The thank you stamp I was trying to use was adhered to the block crooked too...so I had to use my stamp positioner to get it right! (actually, I stamped it directly to my card and realized that it was crooked...so I made a banner tag with the sentiment to cover it up! LOL!)

  13. Lovely card and great composition too. Wood mounted stamps are annoying like that and you'll always remember that now :)
