Good afternoon all.
Another lovely day today and just back from the hairdressers so had a relaxing morning. Doctor managed to get blood first time yesterday from my right arm so the nurse had to use my left arm to inject the dye for my scan...I'm a little bruised and battered today, oh to have some prominent veins somewhere!
Another month is nearly over so we've reached Rudolph Day...here is my offering which I managed to make last night.
I'm making a concerted effort at the minute to get some of my special Christmas cards done and dusted...this is only number three so still a few more to go!
Topper is from Wild Rose Studio, die cuts all from Spellbinders, papers and bow from Docrafts, sentiment from LOTV, border punch from Tonic and button and gems from my stash. I've used a similar layout to my other two specials so making a little dent in my stash of backing papers.

A super beautiful card, carol! I love the papers. I am sure veins shrink when there are needles around. hope you are not too bruised x
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, got to get stuck into some more of these myself, hope to make a late one for CCC and will publish next time Karen x
ReplyDeleteCarol, I'm the same way with the blood draws. If they get it right first time, the tech is an expert. I nearly always have to go to 2 arms, bruising and it's not fun. Glad it's over with for you. Love your cute Rudy card. That is an adorable topper, and I like the way you've framed it up. Pretty combination of patterned papers, and nice colors that work well for a traditional Christmas Card. TFS & Hugs
ReplyDelete*Insert low highly-impressed whistle here* Wow, girl! You have taken all those warm, fuzzy Christmas patterns and mixed them all up to create an awwwwwwsome design! I'm starting to feel the Christmas card squeeze already, too! Good for you for starting so early!
ReplyDeleteWow I love this xx
ReplyDeleteI hate having blood taken. I used to give blood and some of them used to be a bit rough! Cant give any more as they decided as I had a transfusion when I was born I cannot give any more!! Makes no sense to me.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card there. So pretty.
xx
I love the Scandinavian look, such a pretty card in lovely colours. I too don't have veins that can be seen so always have a problem when blood is taken, I come away from the surgery with black and blue arms! Michelle x
