Good morning all.
I was most dis-chuffed last Friday to discover a Custom's Charge of £11.66 in the post for a parcel worth a little over £18. I had to pay to get the parcel which was delivered yesterday...the Amazon seller had put the worth of the parcel as being $73.77. I took a photo and contacted them immediately, they swiftly responded and apologized and refunded the monies back via Amazon. Result - one happy customer who won't hesitate to shop again!
I had a crafty afternoon yesterday and made a few cards.
I made a sympathy card for the box as I hate making them when needed! Hopefully I won't need this one for a while. Stamps are from Clearly Besotted and I've stamped with Memento ink.
Over at LIM we're asked to CASE a DT card this week, I decided to CASE Chrissie's card today and chose to use the same colours plus flowers.
Challenges entered:
Less is More - CASE a DT card
Just us Girls - black and white plus ?
Time Out - black and white plus a splash
Scrap & Craft - flowers
Addicted to Stamps - anything goes
Gorgeous creation . Love the Christmas one below too.xxx

This is a beautiful, simple design that says it all Carol. Know what you mean about making these cards but sadly they have to be done.

Another stunning card Carol and I love that CBS stamp although it's one I don't own YET! A superb take on Chrissie's card and I'm thrilled to see you've linked up at ATSM as well as LIM. thanks so much. Sarah x

ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful, simple card. The flower stamps are gorgeous and love that you left the rest of the card clean. Its stunning and I'm so glad you shared it with us at ATSM this week!
ReplyDeleteA very beautiful CAS sympathy card to have on hand. Easier making them for the stash, than for the immediate occasion, so good thinking on that score. I'm with you on the mailing gig..I'm so glad you got it handled satisfactorily. That's always such an irritating thing when that happens too. Love your beautiful card. TFS
ReplyDeleteReally pretty card. I try to make some sympathy cards ahead of time too, for the same reason...easier that way...
ReplyDeleteA sad use for a beautiful card. Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteLovely card Carol and good idea to make it when it's not required. Customs charges are ridiculous and with the postal charges now it has stopped me ordering from the US which used to be a cheap alternative. Susan x
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful Carol, I'm glad you sorted out your customs charge, that would have made me really cross too!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much
Chrissie
