Good morning all.
Urgggh spring cleaning...who invented it! Decided I ought to gut the house before we go away as I'm sure none of the kids will think to clean anything. Lots more still to do but having a day of rest today as I'm off to Glasgow tonight to see Fleetwood Mac. A bit of laundry to do and maybe some crafting too.
I got a small gelli plate last week so managed to fit in a little play at the weekend.
This is the mood board I created.
Using acrylic paints from a Royal and Langnickel art box which belonged my son along with several ARTplorations stencils from STAMPlorations.
I die cut the section I wanted to use (after I had cut some out for a DT project) with my favourite die of the moment from Wplus9 and attached to another die cut from waste card to give some dimension. Base card and insert were both in my bit box. Sentiment is a Jofy stamp from Paper Artsy, stamped onto waste tissue and heat embossed. The button, hessian and gemstone were all found on my desk. Truly a card made of left over bits!

I like to come home to a tidy house too! I lways clean thehouse before we go to the lake...and I always clean the RVbefore we leave to come home! Dh thinks I am crazy!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat mood board. What a fab way to have backgrounds on hand.
Your card is wonderful.
Thanks for the kind words on my garden posts. It was hard to do that post but short of developing photos and mailing them, it was the only way to show my 91 year old Mum the house and garden. She can read my blog at the library, or at a neighbours' house.
It is the smallest house and smallest garden we have ever owned. I am so crippled with arthritis now that it is nice to have the low upkeep. Once all is set on the emitter watering, it should be even less work.
You will have a giggle at this, but I din't use those steep back steps down from the deck. I use the three steps at the front door and DH picks me up and drops me off there before he puts the truck in the garage.
I access the back garden by walking downstairs inside the house, and then out the patio door,. If I get any worse, we will put a lift in on those stairs! Bungalows are very rare here and are located in sort of crummy neighbourhoods!
Wow! What a fabulous BG you've created here! I can't wait to see your DT project! Thanks for sharing and joining us at Inspiration Destination. Hope to see you again and good luck!
