Sad News

Sadly my father in law lost his battle and died earlier this afternoon. Thankfully it was a peaceful end to this life and although not unexpected it's no less painful for the family. We now have the task of getting Gary home from New Zealand in time for his funeral.

I'm signing off now and will catch up with you all when life settles down again.

    I was really sorry to read this. My thoughts are with you all at this really sad time.

    Expected or not it is always a shock isn't it to think that someone is no longer part of our lives.

    I hope Gary manages to get home OK.

    I am so sorry Carol - as Christine says whether you expected this outcome or not it is still as devastating. My thought is that there will no longer be any pain for him and your pain will eventually lessen leaving loving memories.

    I'm so very sorry to hear of your sad loss Carol. I know this will be a very sad time for all your family but hope it is some comfort that he passed away peacefully. I hope that Gary gets home in time.
