Good morning all.
Sorry I've been awol again...suffering horribly with hot flushes and an itchy skin rash, hormones...who'd have them!! I've spent hours this week trying to find somewhere to go on holiday for a week in May with both Lora and Mark and so far have failed miserably to find something that suits everyone, think I'll leave them all at home and suit myself!

It's time for our next challenge over at the Christmas Card Club, it was Christine's turn to choose the theme this time and she's said "Let's see some wings".
This is one of the extra cards I made for our Robins challenge two weeks ago so I'm cheating slightly here! Dies are all Spellbinders. Image is a recycled Christmas card, paper and sentiment stamps were magazine freebies. I've added stickles and gems for sparkle.
Flat for posting and finished inside :)
You'll find the rest of the girls listed on my sidebar if you'd like to pop over and see their creations.
Challenges entered:
CHNC Extra - anything Christmas goes
Crafty Hazelnuts patterned paper - anything goes
Completely Christmas - anything goes
Totally Papercrafts - shaped cards
CRAFT - Christmas

How can it be cheating if we haven't seen it before Carol? Doesn't say in the rules that it has to be made in the last few days does it? Love the shape of your card and the robins are lovely. I sometimes think that I would really love a week away on my own somewhere!!! Good luck finding your holiday. Hugs Christine xx

I'm with Christine on this one Carol - anyway it has wings on it and we've not seen it before so it totally fits the bill!! In fact it is a beautiful card and a lovely shape.

You are not cheating Carol - you are just using up something that was left over from the last challenge lol! I have a couple of robins waiting to be used and nearly chose them for today's challenge - I'm just grateful that I am making one or two cards for every challenge and hoping there will not be a made rush this year xx
ReplyDeleteThis is a fabulous Christmas card Carol, I love your adorable recycled image and delicate die cut circles.
ReplyDeleteWe've just booked a holiday for us, both boys, Matt's girlfriend and my mum - it's cost us an arm and a leg to find somewhere to suit everyone!

What a delightful card! Love the birdies (Of course!) but I like the shape of this one, with the round robins popping up at the top, and the lacey frilled edge. That dp is so pretty as well. (I'd say tell everyone since they can't make up their minds, you'll choose where _you_ would like to go! Then do it! Have fun too). TFS & Hugs
