I've lots to be thankful for this week - Mum's made a full recovery and her medication should prevent any further scares, we've taken her back down home today although she's stopping with one of my sisters for the time being.
On Friday OH was taking his Dad to hospital for an appointment (his sister and our younger son were in the back) when they were involved in a near fatal car crash when a lorry pulled out and side swiped them - had they been a few seconds later there would have been a head on collision. Luckily they were in FIL's car which was an Audi and although it is a write off it stayed upright throughout and the only damage to them was some bruising due to the air bags and curtains deploying.
So I'm hoping for a quiet week this week with only kitchen plans to worry about!

The LIM ladies are looking for hearts this week, here is my first attempt (when I say first I mean that very loosely - several failed attempts ended in the scrap box before this evolved).
I've embossed the heart frame with a nestie then stamped the flower (from a big box bought from QVC many moons ago) and coloured with autumnal coloured promarkers then added the little flowers (from Hero Arts) to balance. Thank you sentiment is from the same big box of stamps.
Challenges entered:
Less is More - hearts
Shopping our Stash - thanksgiving
Try it on Tuesday - make it minimal
Little Red Wagon - thanks
Stampin for the Weekend - colours of autumn
On a brighter note we're going to a christening tomorrow so I shall be gone most of the day, I'll catch up with you all tomorrow evening to see what you've all been up to.
