Golden Oldie

Good morning all.

Friday once again so I'm off over to see Erika to share another golden oldie. Following on the tiger theme today I'm sharing a jumper I knitted many moons ago.

I don't have the jumper any more alas, nor can I find the pattern but I did find this picture of it on the internet. I think it was from a magazine, most likely The Women's Weekly.

And this is a photo of me wearing it....oh to be that young and skinny again!! This photo dates back to 1985 so was taken a few months before my first date with hubby....I think it was the jumper he took a fancy to lol! Whilst I don't have the jumper I do still have the wellies...they were a darn good buy!

  3. This is a real oldie Carol but what a super tiger jumper and I think we were all a lot skinnier 30 years ago, crikey how time flies.

  5. Arh happy times the 80's time of picture jumpers. Carol love your blast from the past, that's one fancy jumper I bet is was difficult to knit with all that constant changing of colours. (Can you tell I'm not a knitter?!)
Thanks for joining me in sharing an oldie today, have a super weekend, hugs Erika. x

  6. Fabulous jumper and thank you for sharing a photograph of yourself wearing it. I was a prolific knitter in the 80's not so much now.

  10. Fabulous jumper Carol, I too used to knit jumpers for my family and myself, many years ago. I didn't attempt anything as difficult as this jumper though!
