Just for You

Good morning all. Friday again, where did the week go to!

Managed to do some crafting just for me yesterday, between my DT work.


Decoupage image is a Sarah Kay which I made up the other week. Papers are from Wild Rose Studio. Fancy oval dies are from Spellbinders and corners and butterfly are from Marianne Design. Ribbon, rose and pearls are from my stash.

And a shot to show the layers.

    Awwwww...you brought back tender memories for me.
    Forty years ago there was a little girl like that dressed usually in blues. Holly Hobby was her name and framed some pictures and made aHolly Hobby applique patchwork quilt.
    We lived in the Kootenays then...snuggled right into the towering Rocky Mountains. It was 40 or 45 below in the winter...I used to quilt to pass the time as it was so not going for a stroll weather!!!
    It was a gorgeous place, full of nature and wildlife, but very remote and far from family. Quilting kept me busy...Thanks for the memories and your card is lovely!
