Predominantly Purple

Good evening Limettes and a Happy New Year to you all. This week is a colour challenge at Less is More and the Diva Ladies would like to see purple. 


I found this new Marianne Design folder waiting to be used when I attempted to sort the mess out in my craft room today so decided to give it an airing. I used Papermania card and then used my new distressing tool (bread knife is now redundant lol) to sand the embossing and edges before matting it onto purple mirri card. The image is a die cut from the Glitter Girls. Sentiment is stamped in plum Archival ink. Card is finished with a bow and a pearl. 
Being very good and keeping to my resolutions I've put an insert in the card, sorted an envelope and the card is good to go!

Challenges entered:

The Squirrel and Fox - something new
Samuel Taylors - distress
Craft Your Passion - anything goes + distressing

    Another lovely card Carol. I like purple. Sounds like you are trying to do the same as me by sorting out the insert when you make the card - wonder how long we will keep it up!
