Stencil Sunday #72

Good evening all.

It's my turn again to offer some inspiration on the Stencil Sunday post today over at STAMPlorations. Today I have a 12"x12" canvas to share with you.

I have had three of these planned in my mind for ages...one for each of my niece and nephew's weddings and finally managed the first of my niece's special day. Sadly there were no photos of hubby and I together that day so I've used one of me and my beautiful niece.

I added multi colours of acrylic paint to the canvas randomly with a small brayer, then added some stamping using both Archival Inks and Silver EP.

I added texture paste through the dots all over stencil, then added a bit more paint and some Distress Crackle Paint.

Finally I sprayed some DecoArt Media Mister through the Hearts all Over stencil to add some corner detail.

My main focal point was layered up and stuck with a hot glue gun....cheesecloth, lace, hessian, a Prima photo frame and button. The labels were cut and stamped using words from Trendy Butterflies onto kraft card. All other words were stamped onto tissue and attached with medium gel. Butterflies and Memories word from my stash.

I hope you like what you see here today and we'd love you to join in our Mixed Media Challenge which runs until the end of the month...non card projects only and remember to use a stencil.
