Toe Tappers

Good morning all.

Last night was a little calmer thank goodness, we had wind and rain most of the day yesterday...still no snow though! Managed a little bit of crafting yesterday but nothing I can show just yet. Didn't get on too well with the light box...I'm going to try it on the dining table to see if more space helps. I have found a low light setting on my newer camera which takes pics I'm fairly happy with though!

Another oldie to share today. Toe Tappers...no not the Shunter's Social Club (who else is old enough to remember that on a Sunday night!).

Again the year was 2007 and Toe Tappers were all the rage...this was my first attempt! Hark at all the peel offs...a girl's best friend in those days!! I remember being rather proud of this one, probably the first time I'd successfully stamped this Happy Birthday background stamp. This went to my niece, wonder if she still has it?

I'm going to link this up over at Snappy Crafts where Erika runs a Golden Oldie Friday spot, which several of my blogging buddies have been joining in recently.

  1. Hi Carol and thank you for joining me in sharing an oldie this Friday.
I think your shoe is a great idea, I'm afraid you've lost me with toe tappers, it must have been something that passed me by....head in the sand quite often when it comes to trends! This idea is great for a girlie card, especially for a lady who loves shoes.

Have a super weekend and plenty of crafting!
    Hugs Erika. x

  3. I found one/two of their templates and an inspiration book from them when we swapped my craft room. I'm not sure if I will use them again but hanging onto them just in case right now,
I've a huge box of peel offs for the local after school group - I rarely use them these days but I know what you mean, couldn't make a card without them when I first started and now don't like them much lol! xx

I used love making these shoes, low heel high heel and fab! Decoration.
Peel off by the "sheet" load and all good fun, loved it.

  7. So cute with all those golden embellies. Those lightboxes can be a pain. I've been trying to shoot with more natural light (when there is any in the icy winter of North Dakota).

  12. Wow! 2007 is going back a bit, but this lovely shoe still looks uber stylish in the soft purple/lavender. Loved the silvery sticker trim too...amped up the pizzazz on that shoe immensely. I think you can be very proud of this. Don't think I've even got anything I did (if any!) in 2007. I enjoyed this Blast from the Past. TFS, hope the white stuff doesn't show up, stay warm, Hugs. Happy wkend.
