Good morning all.
Hopefully blogger is behaving and this publishes okay.
It's time for our fortnightly Christmas Card Club challenge again and this time the theme was set by Sue P who gave us "Carol Singers".
My favourite Penny Black stamp, stamped onto Desert Storm kraft card and coloured with promarkers with added stickles on the hats. Sentiment was a magazine freebie. Pearls and twine from my stash.
All finished inside.
Do pop over to see the rest of the gang's creations, their links are on my sidebar.

Carol, Just love this caroling penguins (we must have channeled each other). Love the way you've used the kraft base to enhance these little cuties, and the fuzzy snow on their hats shows up well too. Wonderful use of your festive bakers twine as a small border to draw the eye up to the little guys. TFS & Hugs
ReplyDeleteSuper little penguins and love your snowflake finish on the inside. Must admit I forgot all about the inside of mine this time!! Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteCarol, the rubbing alcohol is probably something you have in your medicine cabinet. You can use the THoltz stuff like you use for the alcohol inks, but the plain old rubbing alcohol is cheaper!!! Just spritz until the inks run...the video will give a real good look at how your colors should run. Hope you'll try it and share the resulting effort. Hugs
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card, love this cute image. xx

ReplyDeleteThis is so darn cute! The twine looks great with this card and your sentiment is well placed. I have this stamp too(misplaced at the moment though) and have struggled sometimes to find the right place for adding a sentiment. Guess I was over thinking as right on the image is best I think!
ReplyDeleteWat een leuke kerstkaart. Je stempel met de pinguins vind ik erg leuk. Ook je twine en glitter maken het helemaal af. Bedankt voor je deelname bij CHCC Extra.
