Good evening all. I'm running late this should have gone live this morning!
I've finally come out of hibernation...I really don't like January and February!! It would seem my mojo doesn't either and is still awol! Thanks to those who have asked if I'm okay, I'm fine just can't seem to settle to crafting and I've less than three weeks to finish off the wedding stuff and lose the weight which wasn't there when I bought my outfit!!
Gary is currently enjoying himself in the north of South Island and is starting his first Wwoofing job today...so will enjoy a real bed and some home cooking in return for a few hours work each day for at least a week...I think he was looking forward to it!
It's time for our next challenge over at the Christmas Card Club, it was Mary's turn to choose the theme this time and she's given us "Feature a Heart/the Colour Red". I've managed to do both.
Base card is a recent sale purchase from Readicut. Backing paper is from Papermania "Home for Christmas". Stamps are from Spellbinders a recent magazine freebie which I've stamped and heat embossed. Oval dies from Spellbinders. Icicle die from Marianne Design. Snowflakes are a recent purchase from the Readicraft sale. Ribbons from my stash.
Flat for posting.
And finished off inside...still being good :)
You'll find the rest of the girls listed on my sidebar if you'd like to pop over and see their creations.

What a lovely cheerful card Carol. Those icicles look really good. Sounds like Gary is having a great time, what is "Wwoofing"? Good luck with the weight loss. Michelle x
ReplyDeleteGood to see you Posting.
ReplyDeleteA great card, love it.
I am with you as far as "hibernation" goes. I suffer very badly from "sad"
I have a lamp, take Vitamin D, could NOT make Christmas cards at this time of year. Doing that would set me back badly.
Happy Crafting

A wonderful take on the theme, and I really do like that heart paper. Looks like beautiful cross stitch. I love the fun way you combined the hearts with the Christmas ornaments - so very pretty. I'm so enjoying seeing how all the Members interpreted the 2 aspects of this theme. Each seems more gorgeous than the one I just saw! TFS & Hugs. Good luck with the wedding weight loss too.
ReplyDeleteOh my I just had a real doh moment lol! That is so beautiful Carol, love the sparkle on the bauble stamps and I love the background paper a lot, lol! I hate to do it but you are not alone, January and February are my sleep in a cave months - the two months that I want gone as quickly as possible. Not enough day light and other issues. Gorgeous creation xx
